Service and Impact

Research serves as the foundation for evidence-based services at Edge Development Centre. Therefore, we collaborate with universities and other research institutions to conduct effectiveness studies for our programs, ensuring practical outcomes.

The AP Good Shepherd Project

  • Students who receive support from tutors demonstrate significant improvements in learning performance and self-efficacy. Their overall quality of life in areas such as family, friendships, and school also improves.
  • After participating in executive function training, students show notable enhancements in social interaction, self-awareness, response inhibition, and cognitive flexibility.
  • Parents observe a significant reduction in behavioral issues among students who undergo executive function training.

Mind and Study Matter: Tutoring and Counselling Programme

  • Students experience a significant boost in personal achievement, including better completion of coursework and improved social and interpersonal skills.
  • Levels of stress, anxiety, and depression decrease significantly among students.
  • Executive function skills, such as working memory and cognitive flexibility, show marked improvement.
  • Tutors enhance their counseling, communication, and leadership abilities, leading to improved teaching effectiveness and adaptability to students’ needs.
