Marriage And Couples Counselling

Marriage And Couples Counselling

Even if they are not related by blood, partners are often the people who know each other best. Partners develop a deep emotional connection and share all aspects of life, including preferences, values, dreams, and challenges. This familiarity and emotional connection allows partners to support, understand, and rely on each other. However, when people from different original families come together and live the rest of their lives, the process will not be smooth sailing. There will always be times of collision and conflict. Partners should never compare who is stronger, who pays more, or who loves whom more. The most important thing is to be honest.

Open communication between partners is indeed “easier said than done”. In Marriage And Couples Counselling, counselling psychologists create a safe and respectful communication atmosphere for couples to discuss openly, explore each other's needs and desires, and find solutions to problems. This service is designed to help couples at different stages. Whether they are experiencing emotional difficulties, facing major changes or challenges, or wishing to improve the quality of their relationships, they can improve their relationships through counselling. The service is suitable for different types of partnerships, including ordinary couples, married couples, and same-sex couples.

During the counselling process, the counselling psychologist will help partners gain a deeper understanding of each other's emotional needs, including understanding each other's desires, worries, and expectations. At the same time, the counselling psychologist will guide partners to reshape their interaction patterns and learn how to express emotional needs, listen to each other, and respond to each other's needs.

The service is led by registered counselling psychologists.
