The new Edge Development Centre has officially launched! This is a one-stop service center designed specifically for Special Educational Needs (SEN) and mental health.

Come and explore!

Founded in 2018 and endorsed by HKGCSE, Edge Development Centre (Edge) is a social enterprise that aspires to be the first-of-its-kind service-providing think-tank, comprising frontline clinical professionals. It is an innovation for innovations where front-line clinicians could rally around, proposing systematic solutions to social problems/ service gaps. We empower front-line clinicians to be the difference they want to see, and we encourage bottom-up evidence-based practice (EBP).Through multi-disciplinary collaboration and strong adhesion to the scientific methods, we actualize 'Practices that work' in both macro (society-level) and micro (client-level) perspectives. Edge is named a Mental Health Friendly Supreme Organization, being a chartered signatory of the Mental Health Workplace Charter.

Edge has organised a number of award-winning projects, and many large-scale projects have been sponsored by different funds, including Advance Children Medical and Education Foundation, Social Innovation Fund, Cyberport, Education University of Hong Kong Education and Social Entrepreneurship Fund (EASE Fund), HSBC Private Bank customers, etc. Edge also signed the "Mental Health Workplace Charter" jointly implemented by the Department of Health, the Labour Department and the Occupational Safety and Health Council, and was recognized as a "Mental Health Friendly Supreme Organization".
